The event began with a warm welcome tea, followed by opening remarks from the Deans of both institutions. In their speeches, the Deans reflected on the long-standing history of academic collaboration between the two schools and jointly emphasized the importance of sustained dialogue and cooperation among leading business schools amid intensifying global competition. Following the remarks, the Deans exchanged commemorative gifts symbolizing mutual friendship and posed for a group photo with all distinguished guests, marking this milestone meeting.
The program continued with faculty introductions, which further strengthened connections between professors from both institutions and laid a solid foundation for future research collaboration. During the subsequent networking session, participants engaged in in-depth discussions on industry strategy and management insights, fostering lively and meaningful exchanges.
To help visiting guests gain a deeper understanding of NCCU, International Programs Ambassadors from the NCCUC delivered a presentation in English, introducing Taiwan’s cultural characteristics as well as the academic strengths of the College of Commerce. The visit also featured a keynote lecture entitled “Global Semiconductor Industry and the Strategic Landscape of Taiwanese Firms,” which provided an in-depth analysis of Taiwan’s strategic role in key global supply chains and was met with enthusiastic responses from the audience.
The NCCUC and the Yonsei School of Business formally signed a student exchange agreement in 2024 and currently recommend one to two students annually for reciprocal exchange. This visit not only further strengthened the existing partnership but also deepened mutual trust through face-to-face dialogue. As the visit concluded successfully, both institutions expressed strong expectations for future collaboration, aiming to expand academic and industry engagement beyond the established student exchange program and jointly enhance the global impact of business education in Asia.
