Enterprise relations
The NCCU College of Commerce has been maintaining close cooperation and actively developing relations with enterprises and organizations since its establishment. A strong lineup of business and management faculties dedicated to instruction and research, a social network formed by nearly 35,000 alumni, well-planned and well-designed commerce and management programs, and a wide variety of talents have enabled the NCCU College of Commerce to establish and maintain close cooperation with the industry. In hardware facilities, a large auditorium was built with a donation of NT$10 million from Yuanta Financial Holding, and the Center for Public and Business Administration Education was renovated with a donation of NT$600 million from alumni Chun-ji Chou in March 2012. In research and education funding, Sinyi Realty donated NT$200 every year for ten years to support the establishment and operations of the Sinyi School to promote business ethics education for business and management talents and the feature development of the MBA program, and encourage faculties to exert their outstanding research energy and elite and innovative thoughts. The internet era has given rise to increasing new concepts, new technologies, and new trends. In results, enterprises will need outstanding business and management talents and professional consultants to help them face new challenges. Before entering the job market, students of the NCCU College of Commerce will need richer practical experience and more professional competencies to shorten their workplace adjustment. Apart from offering professional consultation service for enterprises, faculties of the NCCU College of Commerce will need to understand better problems in business practice and consider them in their research and instruction. To fulfill the needs of enterprises, faculties, and students, we need to establish closer relations with enterprises in order to create greater service value for stakeholders through close industry-academia collaboration (scholarships, internships, and projects for students; upper management training courses; local case development; and courses co-organized with enterprises).

By keeping closer collaboration with enterprises, the NCCU College of Commerce hopes to cultivate professionals more suitable for enterprises with the enterprise intervention, in order to establish a reciprocate and win-win relationship and thereby promote industrial development and improve education quality in Taiwan.
